Dr. Joseph Davis has been prolific in reproductive research, furthering the understanding of the role of Vitamin D in infertility. His work has been published in the Biology of Reproduction, the Journal of Neuroscience and presented nationally at several meetings including The American Society of Reproduction (ASRM), Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI), Society for Neuroscience, and Endocrine Society annual meetings. Dr. Davis has also been the recipient of multiple research awards include the Young Investigators Prize for Research, the New England Fertility Society Ferring Research Grant, the SGI Plenary Session prize poster, and the Endocrine Society 2013 Clinical Research Fellowship Award.
As a resident in OB/GYN Dr. Davis published a textbook chapter on anovulation and an article in The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology on progesterone receptor modulation for the treatment of fibroids. Additionally Dr. Davis also excelled in minimally invasive surgery and received the AAGL Laparoscopic Surgeon Award
